F#%king Up With Purpose is a card deck designed to get designers out of their own way. The deck helps embrace the imperfect, messy design process. Perfectionism can oftentimes stall or stop a project in its tracks; this card deck contains over 50 prompts meant to ward off those perfectionistic tendencies. The prompts range from the mild, like using colors you hate, to the wild, like putting the form before the content. The deck's colorway embraces the red found in corrective marks and its patterns are inspired by Persian rugs, which traditionally include an imperfection. As the deck progresses, the original pattern falls apart to create an animation. The typography is eclectic and not systematized to drive the concept home.
